You can get that info from your VIN. Should be the last 4 or 5 digits right now.

My last 5 digits are 03100, but I have trouble believing therefore that mine was #3100 built. Our Ridge was one of the two first vehicles delivered to our dealership, which I believe was typical that first week of introduction in March. Would Honda really have 1500 or so dealerships that they delivered-to in that first week? Would they have built over 3000 of the trucks before starting deliveries?

Something doesn't sit right with me about this math!

We already had 2 trucks built for every dealership in america by the last week of february ;)

And how many dealerships are there in North America?

Ok a quick Google found a history item "900 by 1986" so I guess the math might work after all! That's a lot of trucks to build & sit awaiting shipment the 1st week of March, huh!!!! :eek:

truthfully I don't know but I think we built between 2500 and 4000 trucks before the release. Right now we are at about 15 500 - 16 000 ;)

Mine is #907, bought in Portland, Oregon on March 3rd. Now it runs around So. Oregon. The Dealer said he thought it was close to the first in Oregon. At least in Portland. Anyone in Oregon reading this?

If enough people pipe up one could figure out the delivery pattern. Maybe we could tell which Dealers get new stuff first? Like as in goodies??? LOL

As the kid indicated that 2500 to 4000 were built before the official launch dates 1st Mar 05 USA, 1st Apr 05 Canada. My VIN 00114 so it must have been at the far end of the storage compound. Took delivery 28 Mar 05, 4 days prior to official CDN launch date (did have firm order in end of Jan). And I am happy to say got what I expected Honda DQR zero problems despite early production. Mine was 8549 and built the week of 3/18 with delivery 3/31/05 to Massachusetts. Seems like 10000 might be right on target. If they plan to have 50000 by year end they must be making about 1000 a week, if not more. Seems like a lot. If people post when their vehicle was delivered to dealer we might be able to figure out how many they make weekly.

We build 1650/week and I think we are at vin#17000 or so right now ;)

My silver RTL is number 1908. I took delivery on March 19th.

Ther is probably a whole differnt sequence to indicate it is Canadian, since they are not the same ( DRL, no white), your models also have there own codes RX verses RT, and what ever, so your was mostlikely built far later.
Good for you though, because early bugs fixed.

Since it was only a day between build and delivery I should be up in the 16's or 17's. Mine was built Apr 25th and delivered on the 26th. I pick it up tomorrow and I'll let you guys know then. I live about 4 hours from the manfacturing plant.

Bought my Amazon Green EX-LSR on April 7/05. It is 00094 and built January 2005.

Bought my RTL on May 14 and the last five numbers are 11256. I hope some of the bugs are out from the earlier models but I doubt they would make any major changes this early in the ball game. In fact, I doubt there will be any modifications of any kind until the next model year. If there is any big, widespread problem found down the road they will probably do a recall.
