Missed my Exterior Keypad.

I missed having the keypad on the outside of the car in case my assistant locked the keys in my car or I needed to get in and my keys were at the bottom of my camera bag.
Figured someone else might like this.

I Looked online and found Davstar, other places have them too.

http://davstarsecurity.com/Skeysafe.htm

This is a hide-a-Key with a real lock. The black cover is weather tight, and the black cover where I mounter it blends in so no one knows its there.

Since I have the Honda Tonneau Cover the top tie downs were of no use to me so I mounted the Keysafe to it. I can reach it quickly and replace it easily. I had a key made for it to only open the door because of the length of the Stock keys. It will not start the engine.

Included a couple of shots to show it off.

Make sure if you get one to make sure it has the mounting plate.
This way I did not have to drill any unnecisary holes. I thought about the wheel well but decided against it because they were plastic.

Hope this helps someone else. I'd rather have this than have to call a locksmith because my assistant either put the keys in his pocket and drove off or he locked the keys in the trunk while loading gear.

MY tricky anti-lockout idea is putting the valet key inbetwwen the drivers mudflap and the inner fender.Fit's like a glove. Now look if my Ridge is gone I will no who the likely suspects are.
