Security System

Can anyone tell me what the security system entails? I read about it in the booklet but it doesn't say much. I know some of the newer Hondas have chips inside the key and the car won't start without it. Is that true about the
RL?

From how you describe it, I believe that is correct. Honda refers to it as an "immobilizer"...you need the programmed key to make the car work. :cool:

I already disabled the factory alarm and had a Viper alarm and auto start installed. All they had to do was Imbed the valet key into the dash for the auto start to work.
