Okay, first off let say thanks to whomever is may concern for providing this forum.

I am hoping that maybe someone else has had this issue.

Probably about 3 or 4 times a week my alarm will go off in the middle of the night. This always @ like 1 or 2am and pisses the neighbors off, but who cares about them.

At first I thought maybe some unscrupulous character was testing my new truck, but then we moved and it happened with the same regularity. So I took it in and had them adjust the sensitivity. It stopped for about 2 weeks but then started up again except this time it would go off whenever. Like when I was at work, or when my wife and I came out of the Claim Jumper after dinner the mall security were standing around it and told me it had been going off for 10 minutes. I took it in again and it went off in the dealership parking lot. That time they "reprogrammed the brain". Again it stopped, this time for about two months but lately it has started up again. And like the first time it is always @ 1 or 2am that it goes off.

This happen to anyone else? or do I need to get my car exorcised?

BTW I am taking it again tomorrow so I will post what they say.

Could have put Linda Blair on there....... the one with her head turned 180.

Sorry........... as for the alarm, I would suspect loose wiring. This is the alarm that came with the Ridgeline, right?

I have the same exact problem and the dealership service department has seen it three times and replaced three parts..... they now have no confidence they can fix it. i am probably going to have to get rid of the truck

in the meantime you can pop the hood but still keep it latched every time you park the truck and the alarm will not engage

After the event, your alarm tells you what caused the alarm. (at least HONDA alarms do).

Read the owner's manual to find out how to interpret the code.

What part of the manual is that in? I just went through the "Security" section and there's nothing that tells you what caused the alarm.

Edit: I should have posted this in your original thread. I will copy and paste it there.

Take note of this comment in the FSM:

A switch that is slightly misadjusted can cause the alarm to sound for no apparent reason. In this case, a significant change in outside air temperature, the vibration of a passing truck, or someone bumping into the vehicle could cause the alarm to sound. There is no glass breakage or motion detector feature.
