Has anyone tried the HUSKY rear mud guards? If so, how do they look? Do they match the OEM front guards at all? They have them on e-bay for $25, about 1/2 the $ than the OEM rears. Thanks

Bought mine off ebay and they arrived 2 days later. I installed them today and I'm happy with them. They are larger than the OEM Honda ones but I think they'll give more protection. All the holes lined up and they were installed in about 15 minutes. They ebay seller is pokermotorsports and the transaction was smooth.I recommend them.I can post pix later if you want.

Hey Andy -

I ws just about to buy these on eBay and I noticed the listing said DRILLING REQUIRED.

Is that true? I know sometimes sellers just rehash listings or have no idea about the product they are selling.

Did you drill or use stock holes?

Here is the link you makes them. I have their floor liners in my 2500 Chevy Silverado,an excellent product.

Whoops I forgot to ask you a question CT Ridgleine Fan. Do the front Husky Mud Flaps have the Drain Hole in them like the OEM Honda ones???

And do you need to drill anything?

There was NO Drilling. All of the holes match the holes on the truck. There is one hole in the Mud flap that lines up with the plastic liner underneath. I just screwed the supplied screw directly into the plastic. The directions tell you to drill a pilot hole , but i was able to just screw it in with a little pressure.
If i ever removed the flap you would never see where i screwed it in. I was very happy that all the holes lined up. All the screws that you remove from the Ridge are re used for the flap except for the 2 screws that they supply to screw to the liner.

My front flaps are OEM. I didn't chk to see if the rear Husky ones had a drain hole.

CT there is no drain hole in the OEM Rear Mud Flaps, but there is in the OEM front Mud Flaps. Just pour some water on your lower windshield and sure enough it drains out the OEM Front Mud Flap. Now the 64 T ? what's the consequent should that drain hole get plugged with debris??

I have a set of Husky rear flaps on. They are not double walled flaps like the front Honda flaps, they consist of a single wall flap with a border about 3/4 inch deep. On the tire side of the flap there is a cup-like presentation. The other side looks great but the inside is not as attractive as the Honda flap.

I got the Huskys and put them on yesterday. They look very nice (no drain hole) 10 minute install - very easy. everything lines up nicely. The one hole needed to be drilled, I drilled it from the "Back Side" of the plastic inner fender rather than remove the wheel. no problem...

If you don't have mud guards of any type you should buy some. Protect you fenders and clean them less.

The rear Husky flaps don't need a drain hole, because they aren't enclosed like the OEM front flaps. My only gripe with them is that they are concave facing the tire and the mud tends to build up in the bottom lip if you drive in mud a lot. They are easy to clean out, though. As previously mentioned, they are larger than the OEMs, and not much, if any, dirt gets by them onto the rocker panel.

Think twice about a bigger mud flap. They are rigid and attached. When you back up into something hard, like a snow bank or log or dirt they will self destruct and take the well well with it. I know, I've done it with the stock flap. Check out the photos

That's not very pretty. Try attaching a swim fin, they bend both ways.
