I had read about the white scratches before I bought my Ridgeline so one of the first things I got was a bed mat. So far no scratches but I really would not freak out if I got a scratch. I use my truck every weekend to haul rocks and dirt and lumber and trees etc etc ... A scratch is not going to ruin my day. I bought some black touch up paint for the bed but I haven't had to use it yet.

I value my truck for it's utility not for it's looks.
