Hello fellow RL owners. ROC has been a key site I've been viewing for a few months now to do research/homework on the Honda Ridgeline. I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for the excellent content that has ultimately resulted in my purchase of a brand new 06 RL yesterday. Through my research, I have found that the RL was truly the perfect vehicle for my needs. I needed something to carry my motorcycles around and still have ample room for riding gear and friends, yet still be comfortable to drive daily. True cost of ownership (according to Edmunds) was among the best (Very low cost) and resale was projected to be very high and of course, Honda reliability and quality. I ended up with the RTL w/MR and NAVI. For those interested here is the break down of my deal:

Negotiated price: $28,750
Doc Fee: $45.00
Sales Tax (7.75%) $2,231.61
DMV Fees (Cali): $259.75
California tire fee: $8.75

Total OTD: $31,286.36

I’ve only put on 100 miles but I could not be more please with this vehicle. Thanks again ROC.

My first choice was blue but I ended up with the silver which was my second choice. Black of course looks stunning but I've owned a black car before and it can be a pain to keep clean.

Welcome to the ROC Promarkt. It's good to see another SoCal RL in the club. The SoCal group is pretty active in club meets and you should join us on one soon. Hey Promarkt, Congrats on your new truck and a warm SoCal welcome to this great club! I can’t jump 60 foot triples or do crazy back-flips but if you ride dirt, gimme a pm and we’ll hook up with a couple of other ROC-heads for a nice trail ride! When the Dez gets too hot we go to BigBear, Arrowhead and Silverwood Lake to ride in the forest.

Twintym- I'll for sure keep an eye on the Socal section for future events. I'm looking forward to some nice road trips.

5S Dude- I used to ride dirt a lot, mostly track riding at elsinore but have really been riding street so much which is evolving into track (enter Ridgeline) so I sold my dirt bike last year. However, I miss it and intend to buy new one eventually.
