AGGROPHOTO 06-18-2006, 08:42 PM OMFG! I thought I should share this, not that the pricing is all that great..... but here's the link:

What is the quality level of the SteelCraft brand?

I'd actually gues that it is fairly good... since Costco is known for picking up high quality products, at volume prices. I wouldn't put any weight into my opinion, since I'd really like to see the product before I make up my mind, but unlike other mass retailers, this one I would definately look into.... The rest I'd probably not even bother looking at.
scottIN 06-19-2006, 06:29 AM Hmmm...I don't think I've ever seen SteelCrafft posted on here? They actually make the bull bars, nerf bars, as well as a full grill guard for the Ridgeline. Couldn't find any info on line about them (reviews, etc.).
For those interested, their site is www.steelcraftautomotive.com . I will say that they need to optomize their website photos - only visit if you've got a few minutes for things to come up!
As said before, probably a pretty good brand if Costco partners with them - they normally only seek out high quality stuff. But Costoc's price seems to be about $50 higher than I found the same thing for elsewhere?

I'd disagree with the $50 difference, in that the westin chromes are at least $50 higher than them, (at a minimum....... Burtman is at about $375.00)

And very few people make it in silver/ stainless (unchromed), and if they do, They're priced around $300.

No, I mean that other sites are selling the same steelcraft bars on line for $249 vs. the $299 from Costco.
Roadcrewzer 08-11-2006, 09:48 PM Has anybody ordered and installed these SteelCraft Bull Bars from Costco? How is the quality and are they easy to install?
Thanks,
Roadcrewzer
MontanaFred 08-11-2006, 10:00 PM Thanks for the info.
We have a lot of deer and elk and other critters around here and I am interested in bullbars, not for looks, but for the protection. I know from first hand experience how much damage a deer can do to the front end of a vehicle.
kanji 08-11-2006, 11:06 PM costco is great, awesome customer service. Especially their return policy to have the item fix for member's quality relation to sell their products to their members.

Where do they sell cheaper?

Cant imagine these would offer any more protection. My Colorado had 9G done to it by a nice buck and none of the damage was in the area protected by these bars. An elk would be sitting in your lap before it even touched the bars.
NKyRidge 08-12-2006, 06:12 PM humm the web site...
BULLBAR says 299, the drop down box for ordering says 289..
and they have a bed extender for 189 Westin® Bed X-Tender™

might just have to go to Cosco

Good point!
After I made my remark I realized that some of the damage I have had from deer has been to my head lights and even my rear view mirrors and those bull bars would not provide much protection at all. I guess that bull bar is more for looks and not so much for protection.

I ordered a flat screen TV from them over 2 weeks ago. It still hasn't shipped :( Looks like I'll have to wait a long time to try out the return policy.
NKyRidge 08-20-2006, 07:40 PM well, went to Cosco today on the way back to Chicago, (as I left IHOP - it was right next door), but I was amazed at the STUFF there.. furniture and all, looks like good quality stuff. More so than Sams
But, I have to go back, after an hour of looking around, I totally forgot to check on the RL items
