This is my excuse to sit around with my buddies and drink a couple of beers (on private property of course) and do a little fishing and tell some tall tales. I have had the opportunity to do so twice in the last 3 weeks. Here are a couple of pics.

Enjoy!!

Damn, ChrisM, compared to your catch, the catfish here in the Delaware River don't even qualify as kittens. Yep, I'm envious. :o

Nice catches Chris! Brings back some nice memories of the times I had fishin' the Allegheny River as a kid. When the "lunkers" got as big as the ones you've brought in, it felt like I was dragging in a log off the bottom. ;)
We'd get a can of corn, and the highest-test line that would fit on our reels, and go down to the river bank for hours and hours.
We'd get mostly big bull-heads, huge 30-40" carp, and sometimes even a nice muskie or wall-eye if one of us had dug-up some nightcrawlers the night before. It was thrilling when one of us would pull-in a cat the size of yours!

Thanks for bringin' back the memories, watch those fins! , and good luck on yer next outting! :)

Are your pics at a lake, a river... ?

Chris, great pic's are those from a private lake or the river? What would you say they weighed?Several of them and you would need a Ridge to get them to the freezer.
