Here are the pics. The pieces have "unclicked" aprat from each other, and will not stay together when pushing them back together. I will be bringing it into the dealer on Monday, and to be honest, I don't care if they have to replace all kinds of stuff to get it right, something like this should not happen on a new car. Especailly a Honda. The truck has 500 miles on it.

It's not easy to put those pieces back together once they come apart. Of course, I purposely had to take the pieces off of mine to install some stereo equipment. I did manage to put the pieces back together again. Like I said, not easy to put back together. Take it to the dealership. They will put it back together for you. Things like this can happen at 500 miles, 50 miles, 5 miles, 500, 000 miles.

I found a plastic piece loose on my RL and after some investigating, one of my children admitted to dong it accidentally when hooking up the X-Box to the stereo. The inputs are under the driver's seat.

Yours might have been caused by somebody at the dealership or even at the factory. Until cars are totally put together by robots and overseen by another (like not running out of silicone), things happen.

Nice pics, BTW.

Just remembered how to put it back. Just line it up and give it a hefty wack with your hand and pound it back in. The secret is to line it up. Also, make sure that the metal clip behind the plastic piece is lined up and in place.

Mallet or dead blow hammer would also do.

:( Oxi,
I have had the same problem on my driver seat as well. It has already been replaced twice by the dealer, and the third piece has done the same thing. I have just not had time to take it back to the dealer. Hope your dealer is able to fix it for you, for mine has not....:( :( :(
