The manual for the bazooka tube I am looking at shows measurement of 18x8.5x10. Will these fit under rear seat? Thanks

I guess you could always get an 8" with a great return policy and give it a go. Not the most effcient method, but I'm "Mr. Trail & Error." :o

Have you seen this post (http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7787)?

I installed the 6.5" Bazooka tube and once the seat was in, it fit perfectly with just enough pressure from the seats cushion to keep it in place; without bowing the seat.

Yes the 8 fits. But i wouldn't recommend it I had two 8inch Bazooka's under my seat and they did not sound good enough to give up all the space under my seat. Maybe, if you change the sub's in the tube it might sound better.

So many here on ROC seem to think swapping out a driver will improve a subwoofer. In most cases - NO.

The Bazooka tube is a vented design. The interior volume, the cross section area and the length of the vent ("port") are specifically tuned to the driver they use. You cannot put another driver in there and expect any improvement at all. If you put a $500 JL Audio woofer in a Bazooka I bet it sounds worse.

In a sealed design the chances are better that you could achieve an improvement since the only thing that really matters is the volume of the box.

I have change the woofer in a few it sound's real good with the 10inch bazooka. I put in a DD3510 or 10 MTX blue thunder(old school). never tried it with a 8 only a 10.

I have an 8" amplified Bazooka under my seat. Fits perfect, sounds good, but not earth shattering.
