Well I am finally ready to buy a Ridgeline.
A local dealer is asking me for an OTD price I would pay for an '06 RTL w/ Navi.
What is a good price?
Thanks.

I would guess well under $32K based on what I read on this site.

OTD prices are great, and easy for you, but make it difficult for anyone to comment without knowing what your local/state sales and vehicle taxes are.
The taxes/lic on the vehicle have to be paid and can't be discounted. So find out what the amount of all the taxes are before proceeding.
There is a 2000 dollar cash to dealer incentive running on the 2006 models. It expires July 5. It will probably be extended, or may even be sweetened, or it may be cancelled. Any of these three things are possible.
In CA, Carsdirect.com quotes a nav 2006 rtl new at 30,134, incl. destination fee but not taxes and lic.
Carsdirect makes ~500 bucks on the cars they sell.
So figure something in the 29,100 to 29,600 range for the truck itself. I personally offered 30k for a blue 2006 navi because I liked the color and it was a lot harder to find than white/black/silver. They took the deal, but we got tangled up over the cost of options so I ended up buying a 2007 model from an entirely different dealer with a color I liked even better. It cost me some dough to do that, however.
I would try to get internet quotes from dealers who actually have the vehicle in stock. Do not fall for a bait and switch over the phone. ID the vehicle you are interested in and get a VIN number on it.
This should be for a new vehicle. If they are trying to sell you a demo, go lower. Also make sure the vehicle is being sold as new and not as a used vehicle. Some of those have been advertised and mentioned on the board here. They are almost surely vehicles that were damaged in transit, repaired, and then bought by dealers at auction.
Not that buying one of those would be a bad idea, necessarily, as long as the damage was not severe and the repairs were done carefully. You could end up saving a ton of dough on one, but just be sure what it is you are buying.
Good luck in your search!
