I was wondering what my options are? I want something that will secure my flatbed contents from the theft and weather but I want something that I can remove off the vehicle when I need to carry something that is too big to have the cover on. Also do they sell something with a locking/opening mechanism that is powered operated that I can tap my beeper and it will open it or unlock it? I don't know anything at all on the subject so feel free to educate me :) .

chrisl0,
I have been looking into purchasing a tonneau cover also and have come across quite a few options. There are flip up covers like the Honda OEM tonneau cover and the Bak-Flip. There are retractable covers like the Retrax and Jack Rabbit. Then there are the vinyl covers like those made by Truxedo. You can do a search for "tonneau" or these brand names for detailed info on them. I've learned that each has its advantages and disadvantages and opinions vary from person to person. As far as security, I like the lockable OEM and the Retrax. The only one that I've seen that locks to the tailgate is the Honda OEM cover. For the other ones, you would have to get a lock for the tailgate and the one everyone seems to like is the DynoLock. Check it out here: http://store.dynolock.com/hori20upw.html
This is the lock that I actually am going to purchase before I get my tonneau.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for getting back to my post I thought everyone was just going to act like I didn't say anything. Anyway someone we know who has a Ridgeline got a Retrax cover and I got a close up look. It looks really good and he told me you don't need to install the drain tubes, he said in rain without the tubes the thing is totally water tight.
I found two places that are relatively close to me and when the time comes closer I will contact them and see if they will install my Retrax cover. Plus I will see if they can install an electronic tailgate lock.
The only thing I need now is a bed mat that is anti-skid so I can put stuff in the bed without it flying around and breaking. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks again :).

Good luck with the Retrax. Keep us updated on how you like it.

Thanks again, I will save those links. When I get the bed mat and tonneau cover I will post reviews and show some pictures.
