Service Manual Revision?

The Helm site lists two (2) different service manuals, one is 2006 and the other 2006-2007. Based on the part numbers, the latter is a revision of the former and costs $5 more.

The Electrical and Body manuals remain unchanged.

Has anyone seen the "new" version? Is is worth the extra $5? First versions of manuals tend to contain errors/omissions and I'd be glad to go the extra $5 if such things were corrected. If it's just the addition of 07-specific items (like drivers-side vanity mirror) I'd probably save the money.

The 2006-2007 manual is not technically a revision to the 2006 manual, it simply covers both 2006 and 2007 models. Honda service manuals are typically cumulative, except when the model has significant changes.

But to answer your question, yes, the 2006-2007 manualt does include updates for 2006 models. Depending on your needs, I'd say it's worth the $5.

Any idea if '07 versions of the electrical and body manuals might be coming out?

Yes, there will be a cumulative 2006-2007 Ridgeline ETM. However, the '06 ETM has been late in coming, and so it may be a while until we see the '06-07 version.

Typically, the Honda body manual is released only when the model (or new body style) is first released. Since the service information for the '07 body is the same as the '06 body there is no need for an '07 body manual.
