Fellow Ridgeliners,

I am posting this just for an FYI, should any of you encounter similar problems. I hope to pick 'er up today. Anything manufactured is going to have trouble, but there is a part of me that believes that when someone pays this kind of money for a vehicle that these problems should not occur. Thank goodness it hasn't been as bad as my RX-300 that I owned before buying my Ridgeline. Believe it or not, that vehicle was a POS. I must have spent $7K+ on repairs. Anyhoo, listed below are the problems I am having repaired. Nevertheless, I still love my Ridge, just hope when I get 'er back the repairs were done properly. Again, just an FYI...

1. AC motor replaced. (It's July in Texas...bummer...)
2. CD player had to be replaced. Was overheating and not playing the CDs.
(6-disk changer). (I'm a music fanatic. (double bummer...)
3. The proverbial rocking seat that I have read about on the site.
4. The sunvisor clips replaced.
5. The door handle TSB.
6. Black surround trim around back window had come loose. All 3 pieces.
7. Sqeaky steering wheel fixed. AGAIN.

Just received a call (after I made the call to them to prompt them to call me) and the wiring harness for the AC motor has not been received) Now, does that make sense to anybody? The AC motor has been received, but not the wiring harness for the AC. HUH? That makes no sense whatsoever.
Anyhoo...I miss my truck... :(

Sorry to hear about all your problems.

I had one similar problem where my radio (all audio, xm nav) went out. I think it was also related to the Louisiana heat. Had to replace the radio, but they ordered the wrong color.

Long story short, I still have the wrong color radio because I was told if they put it in, I would have to keep it.

Doesn't that just irritate you a bit? I just received a call from my advisor. Wiring harness has not come in. May have to wait another day. At this point, I'm tempted to call the Service Manager, ask him to take the wiring harness off an existing Ridgeline that they have in stock and FIX MY TRUCK. The excuse? "There have been no fan motor problems with the Ridgelines, so the parts are in very short supply." Is that heat I feel or is it the hot air the advisor is blowing up my ass? I've owned 4 Hondas over the last 13 years and the only problem I ever had was a floppy drivers side sun visor. Oil well, I'll wait another day, but if tomorrow comes and that wiring harness ain't in, I'm gonna have a "come-to-Jesus" meeting with the Service Manager. :D
