Can this be viewed through the stock navigation screen like the Honda back-up cam?

If so, how hard is the install process?

Thanks!

Thats something I would be interested in purchasing since I do have a hard time backing up...haven't gotten use to backing up a truck since this is my first one. I don't have a Navi system. So what can I do if I purchase one of those frames:confused:

You will need an interface adapter like the one sold by www.avelectronics.com. I think they run $300 but works great according to brian1972 here on the ROC. Talk to Sam at AV Electronics if you have any questions. He is very helpful.

You can install a small LCD screen to handle the back up camera image. You can either replace your stock stereo with one that has a pop-out LCD screen or just add an outboard one. You will not need the interface adapter that I mentioned above to pbm317. Search the Electronics area and you will see a lot of variations on this idea. Have fun.

Pep boys had advertised here in NYS (today 7/9) a $99 license plate camera and 2.5" color screen. It says 110 degree horizontal and 80 degree vertical view... http://pepboys.shoplocal.com/pepboys/default.aspx?action=detail&flashbrowse=y&storeid=2314759&rapid=289426&pagenumber=1&listingid=-2094768326&ref=%2fpepboys%2fdefault.aspx%3faction%3dbrowsepag eflash%26storeid%3d2314759%26pagenumber%3d1%26rapi d%3d289426%26prvid%3dPepBoys-060709

I had a wireless camera setup but recently went wireless BU sensor... Audiovox 400SH... $199 at Circuit City... 15 minute setup if you have the 7 pin hitch harness installed...

Ah, now thats the thing. I thank you all for your replies...but the one thing I didn't get with the RL is the Trailer hitch. At least not from Honda. But since I know I wasn't going to be towing anthing. I just got it to put on a rear step. So do I need to get the hitch harness?? :(

mycruzr, no you do not need the hitch harness to install... it comes with all the wires, fuses and hardware needed to connect to your reverse bulb circuit... see my recent post here.... http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8546

Anyone have any ideas to allow me to have a back up cam on my trailer that disconnects when I drop the trailer and reconnects or activates another cam on the truck?

I'm sick of not being able to see behind me as I back my trailer into a job site. I put a license plate cam on my Ridge and love it. This set up would go on my F250 and 7' x 12' x 7' utility trailer that I work out of.
