Rattling DVD Screen Unit [Archive] - Honda Ridgeline Owners Club Forums

We just recently purchased our Ridgeline. We added a DVD Player to the deal. The Honda Dealer had to order the Honda DVD Player and then we took the truck back last week to have it installed.

The truck was super-tight when we bought it; but now the DVD screen unit mounted on the ceiling shakes and rattles on every bump. It's ridiculous. I mean ... if Honda had advised that the DVD installation wouldn't match the normally superb fit 'n tim of the vehicle, we wouldn't have bought the DVD Player in the first place.

Is this normal for the Honda DVD Screen Units to rattle like this -- or did I just get a bad installation?

I don't have the DVD, but that does NOT sound normal. I'd take it back and have them check it under warranty. Since you bought the DVD same time as the RL, it should be covered by the 3 yr / 36,000 mile warranty.
