Attention all Lifted Ridgeline's,

I drive a lifted white Ridge. It has been lifted for about six months now and have gone about three thousand miles with no problem until two days ago. Noticed a leak in the Passenger inner cv boot . See picture. Took it in to Tony Honda located in Oahu , Hawaii were i bouht this beautiful beast, and nothing but oustanding service from them. They put a new clamp and even did a four wheel allignment , and did the the recall for the door clips all in four hours. Truck allignment was perfect when i picked it up, altough , the cv leak problem was still there when i got home. I know he clamp was replaced and I called the dealer back. They said and commented finally on the lift , and said the next step was to replace the CV boot and see if that fixed the problem . If not the dealer said the Skyjacker lift might be putting a greater angle on the cv shaft boot then anticipated.

I can use anyone's input on this subject, and also is anyone else had any like this happen to them? below is the before picture the new picture is pretty much the same with just a new clamp.

Your dealer is correct. The angle is too much for the Ridgeline. The RL can handle 2" or more of droop, but you're typically not on the throttle with the wheels hooked up when you have that much droop. In your case, you have too much angle at a load. What should you do? Ask Skyjacker.

BTW, did the dealer fix this for you under warranty?
