Do you think there would be much of a market for a custom fit cooler that took up say half of the inbed trunk? I'm thinking of something that looks like it's part of the truck when fitted, but can be lifted in and out easily. A top'o'the range option would be a refridgerated version - obviously requiring a power outlet in the trunk.

greta idea, but i like my trunk space. I think I would consider one if somebody was offering one. Great idea for those Sunday mornings in the parking lot of your fav.:) team

Sounds cool to me, Lingered_I. (Sorry, pun was intended) Anything specific you had in mind?

I am very surprized someone hasn't done this already. I love the idea.

I've got a company in TN that I have do custom coolers. For the quantity you're talking about, it would cost a fortune. Probably in the $75-$100 ea. range for something about 18-24 can size.
A few years ago I did some for a golf course that were designed to fit on their carts, 12 pack size and those were $50+ each @ 100 qty. Very nice though...
They make a custom cover for a 'milk crate file' for me as well that I use to sell. It's for salespeople who have to haul catalogs in and out of thier car. I'll post a pic if I can find one. No time to mess with marketing it now though.
