ridgeln 07-21-2006, 09:48 AM Hi -
Ok, so I live here, and am trying to make sure I am available to any/all for making sure YOU have a good time at this meet.
I live right outside of Marysville. I know about 1/3 of you are at the "official" hotel, 1/3 of you are camping (at Alum Creek) and the other 1/3 of you are "doing something else."
When are you arriving? Enquiring Minds (ok, so that makes it sound like I've got multiple personalities...) want to know!

britimes2 07-21-2006, 12:34 PM Since this is THE annual vacation for us, we will get there Wednesday evening staying til Sunday. We are camping, so hopefully we won't be too late so that we have enough time to set up the pop-up and maybe get that camp fire going right away. Unless we are too tired from the trip with a 2-year old and just look for a cozy place to eat. Is there anything near the State Park that you can recommend?

There are several places to eat near Alum Creek. There is a Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Wendy's, McDonalds, Taco Bell, all located a stone throw away from each other just about 3 miles from Alum Creek on Rt 36/37 at I-71. You can find just about anything else you want on and around Polaris Parkway, about 7 miles away. There is also Pizza & a little market (Cheshire Market Pizza) just across the bridge at the corner of Cheshire Rd & Africa Rd.
CUinaRidge 07-21-2006, 06:01 PM Hmm seems we need a few more choices on the poll

I will be rolling through the camp ground on Thursday to see the ridges out in play land. Look for me "SHAWTY" on the tags.
ChrisM 07-23-2006, 03:42 PM I have consulted with the boss, (my wife) and I will now be arriving sometime on Friday afternoon/evening instead of Saturday as previously planned. Since I have gotten the official Okee Dokee from her, I went ahead and made reservations at the Waldorf.. er.. I mean Alum Creek State Park and will be staying in the Presidential.. er.. I mean campsite M2 near the rest of you camping folk. I'm getting pretty fired up about this trip. Now if I can sneak out of work a little early on Friday.....
BannedUser 07-23-2006, 07:23 PM Change in arrival time.
Todd and I will be arriving around noon Friday instead of Friday evening.
See you then. :D
T Mac 07-24-2006, 10:51 AM Since the Poker Run will start from the hotel, if people can get there early we will try to do check-in and get everyone their shirts, badges, lanyards, etc. before we even leave.
So, please try to come by the hotel earlier than 2pm. We'll probably be there around 12pm-1pm as we'll be finishing up our drive over that afternoon.

ridgeln 07-24-2006, 06:00 PM Hi -
Ok - I'm trying something here, so bear with me. I've attached an encrypted PDF (not that I'm nuts about privacy, but I'd rather not post my phone # and house address in plain text/html)
Please email or PM me if you have problems with it and I can send it to you unencrypted.
Password is the uncapitalized name of the manufacturer of our trucks. Five letters. Starts with "h" - rhymes with "On-da'"
Counting down!
