My truck is sooo dirty given the amount of rain we have had lately here in Ohio. It will take me 3 hours to make it presentable for the meet.
Starting cleanup on the RL for the meet today.ChrisM 07-23-2006, 06:22 AM My truck is sooo dirty given the amount of rain we have had lately here in Ohio. We spent several hours yesterday getting ours cleaned up and converted from a DOGLIMO to a passenger mobile. Of course in the 100+ weather, we were working pretty slowly in the shade. The clean up from all the dirt we accumulated from our last camping trip took a bit of time. I used 303 Protectant on all the vinyl surfaces, the rubber floor mats, the running boards and the silver trim inside. We got it pretty spiffy now and we won't be on any dirt roads before next Sat. (our ROC-ky mountain meet here in Utah) so it will just need a run through the carwash to look great again. CUinaRidge 07-26-2006, 12:17 PM Almost done with the back seat area interior.... Just came to take a break from the heat and humidity!! Now on to the front seat area... :) jpphoto 07-26-2006, 01:50 PM I washed and waxed mine on Saturday took me 5 hours:rolleyes: ( used Meguires three step process:) ). The inside just needs a wipe down and hopefully once I get to Ohio I will only have to give it a quick wash to get the Bug guts off(depends on the size of the mosquitos). Weather says possible storms over the next few days, hopefully the will stay away as I HATE cleaning the Ridge after these short showers that leave spots and are not long enough to wash away the dust. | |
