I'm curious, has anyone ever been to the Honda homecoming before? Are there consessions in the area? Is there any shade? I was thinking of doing the ice chest in the trunk thing for the meet and bringing a 10 X 10' sun shade/canopy. Am I over preparing? From what I understand, on Saturday, won't we be in a big parking lot all day?

I would also like to add that maybe we should start a list of things people should bring to the meet so there won't be any surprises and everyone is prepared. I have been to other small meets but nothing this size. Here are the things that I am bringing for me and the wife.
Camera-
Shade - I am going to bring the 10 X 10' canopy I mentioned in my previous post whether I need it or not.
Cold Beverages-
Ice-
Folding Lawn Chairs-
Lunch-
For those of you that are camping, are you bringing firewood or are you going to try and source it locally? If I remember correctly, getting wood locally is pretty expensive.
If anyone would like to add to this list, please go ahead.

I'm staying at the hotel but I have some seasoned split pine logs (around 35 pieces) I can bring to the campground if anyone wants them for firewood. Let me know...

Dave...I think you should just stay at the campground in Ridge Court/Ridge Suburbs/Ridgeburbs with us.
Grab a tent and cancel that hotel room.
( And bring the Dulcimer ):p

Anybody who wants to make a 1600 mile detour can have all the oak firewood they want. Seasoned since last August 29. I have dozens of trees that the salvage loggers left. Plus a 40-foot log trailer full of pine chipwood they didn't take either. Bring your own chainsaws. A skidder & knuckleboom or a couple of Bobcats would help, too.
