Looks good. Almost makes me want the wind deflector. Was it hard to put on? Does it help with the bugs much? Any effect on fuel mileage?

I can't decide on the roof rack. The wife seems to think that it is not neccessary. I do however like the look. Maybe sometime in the future.

You should look to H&A. They have been great contributors to this site and all my experience with them has been great. I have the luxury of living close to their physical site and I have dealt with them directly. They run a clean and efficient operation. Check them out.

H & A does not carry the Flares any more, to many issues with them.. Good luck with Honda...I am on my 4th set & they can not get them right! The 1st set woulda worked had they installed them right. You need to prep the surface(remove wax) etc.. then keep dry minumim 24 hours.. my dealer did not prep them right, and it rained for 2 days after the install & the tape de bonded. My 4th set is bonded right, only they are deformed. The dealer is waiting to hear from honda, as they are tossing the towel... I wont let them off the hook, as they carry a full factory warrenty when dealer installed.

Great looking truck. You may need to Vaseline your new flairs to get that bad boy in the garage! I also like the look of the hard cover on the bed. Is it the Honda unit, or aftermarket?

There is no change in fuel mileage with the air deflector. We just put our tonneau cover (Retrax) on tonight and I'm hoping to see an improvement in mileage with it.

Other than the rear splash guards, the air deflector has been the easiest install so far.

I just received my free copy of the RETRAX video the other day, and now I'm really considering buying one in the future. I looks easy to install and should increase gas mileage by 10% (1-3 miles as reported by customers). Someday...

I'd wait on the roof rack until Honda figures out their wind noise issue. It looks great, but if you don't need to have it, save the money until the bugs are worked out. Great looking truck. I have Black as well and love it. The flares really set it off.

It is unlikely Honda will get a new rack anytime in the near future, and if they do it may only be compatible with future versions of the Ridgeline. Honda contracts out the roof rack development apparently in this case to Thule (although I haven't found any confirmation of that). Also I think Honda will likely tell you that the noise caused by the rack is normal roof rack wind noise.

I am trying to decide as I near my first oil change, If I will have the service dept. remove the cross bars at the same time. I only had the rack put on for looks anyway and something tells me the bars are the major culprit with the noise issue. As per suggestions from folks here, I moved them to the back, definitely helped.

I cant help but wonder If the roof rack by Its self makes noise, what the heck would it sound like if you actually put something up there

The label on the ski rack accessory box I have in my basement is clearly marked Thule. I don't know why Thule would make an accessory for a rack they did not design themselves.

How much space is between the deflector and hood? I ask because some deflectors make it difficult to maintain the part of the hood that is protected by the deflector.

Skyhopsing,

Is that a Honda tonneau cover, or another brand. Also, how do you like it?

It is the Honda Cover.

Pros. 1 It fits well
2 you can lock it.
3. it looks kewl !

Cons. 1 hard to remove
2 retracts to halve. making access to the forward bed difficult, hauling
large bulky items is next to impossible.
3 You basically reduce your truck bed to a large trunk!!!!!
