: Green Ridgeline Rollcall
Dragonslayer 07-28-2006, 12:08 AM I went through the polls and saw threads for the white, black and redrock ridgelines and thought I would start one for the green, I feel that the new aberdeen, for me, is welcome as a groc since they are still green , just a lighter shade . Here is my green dragon in the driveway , this was right after I had the dragon decal applied to the hood . Please post your picture of your green rl here .
Rick Walker 07-28-2006, 07:44 AM Here's my Green Machine....

Skywalker 07-28-2006, 08:00 AM AMMONITE GREEN.... limited edition color with an extra 20hp under the hood... no wonder it was voted the best color by the SSGRO (Secret Society of Green Ridgeline Owners )
Notice how the green is in balance and complete harmony with nature.

dodgertn 07-30-2006, 03:27 PM I've had mine since March and I love it. Pretty much stock except I've added black nerf bars after this picture was taken. And of course an ROC Decal.
Great pics everyone. Let's keep 'em coming.
AmazonRidge 07-30-2006, 05:12 PM Here's my AmazonRidge. I actually won a custom Cloud-Rider grill at the Ridge Run in Marysville last night, so I'm hoping to change the look of the front end!!
OneBigDog 07-30-2006, 06:06 PM Here's my Gretel. Had to use her yesterday to pull my '62 Ford F100 out of some sand :)
I don't have a picture to post...but mine looks like yours...:)
I'll add my G-RL to the list.
Dragonslayer 10-23-2006, 11:05 PM I keep seeing the rollcall for all the colors except for the greens. Come on greens post your pictures , amazons and aberdeens . Any aberdeens out there, where are you? I love the color of my amazon green and how it hardly show the dirt and grime of a daily garden truck . These are pictures of my truck and Trinidad head which is north of me by 8 miles . The one with all the offshore rocks is looking south towards Clambeach and McKinleyville. Clambeach is one of the few beach's left in California on which you can drive you trucks on . I have not driven my rl on it yet but I had driven my chevy there once .
Danke 10-23-2006, 11:32 PM Here we are out by the shed,

psango 10-24-2006, 01:36 AM Those are some nice looking trucks! DragonSlayer you sure live in a beautiful part of the world.
Dragonslayer 10-24-2006, 10:19 AM There is still alot of wild country here in far northern California, Paul . Most of the rest of California does not even know that we exist. Our population is very low with 130,000 for the whole Humboldt County and Eureka is the county seat and largest city with 28,000 . Our skies are clear and our water is considered just about the best in the state for drinking . Our home prices are still fair in comparison the the rest of the state , 300 grand will buy one a new 3 bed/2 bath home and $500,000 to $800,000 will put you in a 4-5 bed 3500 sf. estate on 2 acres. And we have an airport with flights to L.A. , Portland, Redding and San Francisco . Cattle is still a thriving business here , much like Pittsburg and good portions of the bay area was when I grew up there . Here in McKinleyville one can still buy a house with and ocean view for under $300,000 . I have clients that sold their bay area homes and came up here and bought two or more with their proceeds, they live in one and rent the others . Life is still slow here and that is one of the reasons that I love it here.
RidgeLI 10-24-2006, 11:02 AM This is starting to look like a "GROC" splinter group endeavor......

I didn't want my RL to look like an Escalade wanna be so I was very conservative with the wheels, the grill is from Burtman and slip covers from wet okole.
kwoodman 02-13-2007, 12:11 PM Looks great...
Getting mine end of this month. Definitely green. Also ordering the Leer cap. Will post pic when complete.

My God, are the greens ever taking a beating!!
Check out 'Exterior' and then 'Worst Color' on the boards. A full 25% of the votes are for Green. Maybe I should change my order...

SSCHEITEL 02-28-2007, 02:06 PM S-W-E-E-T
Could not be happier!
Dragonslayer 02-28-2007, 02:28 PM Welcome SSCHEITEL great color choice. I read somewhere that the difference between the Amazon and Aberdeen it that the amazon color has gold flakes and the aberdeen has silver flakes in it making it lighter by a shade or two.
X-Brawn 03-18-2007, 02:02 AM After test driving a silver RTS I had one question for the salesman for me to commit to buying: do you have any in green?
My 2001 S-10 was white, like the clouds. It was my first truck and a POS.
Then, I came back down to Earth.
My 2003 Toyota Tundra was Desert Sand Mica. A metallic sand color.
Now, I've upgraded to the color of the trees!
Well, sort of...
Here's my brand new 2007 Aberdeen Green Honda Ridgeline. I love the color and as long as Honda's paint holds up better my Toyota's, I'll be very happy.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c144/My03Tundra/My%202007%20Ridgeline/IMG_0881.jpg
P.S. The truck in the background is my parents 2003 Ford F-150, in Dark Phantom Gray. THAT truck has under 9000 miles on it, and was bought a week after my 2003 Tundra that had 43,400 miles when I traded it in.
cubs95 03-19-2007, 01:45 PM Here is a pic of my new Aberdeen Green Ridge. I call her Abby...
Isn't she beautiful......:D
bgtmd 03-21-2007, 09:14 PM I thought it said green ridgeline recall-not. I really like the photos. Wish my dealer would have had one for me to see in person.

C'mon up to Canada... I'll show you mine:D
PPGFlyer 04-04-2007, 03:49 PM I missed this thread when I first joined, my "Greenie" can be seen in the pictures of the SoCal 2007 RL meet, which was on St Patrick's Day so I was definitely wearing green that day :D
Now we have to distinguish between Amazon Green and Aberdeen Green - so I suggest all those Aberdeen Green owners wear a KILT when they go to any of the RL Owners meets
Greg.
Now we have to distinguish between Amazon Green and Aberdeen Green - so I suggest all those Aberdeen Green owners wear a KILT when they go to any of the RL Owners meets :eek:I mean no disrespect to either green owners. From comparing different photos, they look identical to me.
Is there a photo somewhere that has an Aberdeen Green truck parked next to an Amazon Green truck? THANKS

From what I can tell...the Amazon Green is darker than the Aberdeen. I think it has to do with the pigments and the color of the metallic spects in the paint.

No, it is only you. Really.
skimhole 04-10-2007, 06:15 PM Here is my green machine 2006 EX-L
Az RTL 04-15-2007, 09:44 PM Just picked up my RTL three days ago. I have a set of side steps on the way, haven't decided on any other mods yet.
WartRidge 04-16-2007, 12:57 AM search my post about backup camera, westin bull bar, and tow hitch. you'll see more pictures.
PPGFlyer 04-16-2007, 09:53 AM I just took my RL to Afton Canyon (between Barstow and Baker) off the 215, two friends and I went there to fly our Powered Para-Gliders.
Finally took my vehicle OFF-ROAD  and got it very dusty. Drove down into the Manix Basin to the Mojave Riverbed. I'm so glad this machine has 4WD, but even more grateful for the GPS.
I missed the trail I took down and ended going way past where I should have when trying to find my way out. I finally found a freshly graded power line access road to get out on but was now quite lost, turned on my GPS and there was my "breadcrumb trail" that was recorded earlier when we were looking for a launch area :D Just followed the service road until I cut the breadcrumb track and was able to find my flying buddies.
I have attached a couple of pictures, sorry for the out of focus one - must be dust on the lens  The aerial shot is of the campground, the white specks are covers over the concrete table. The actual launch site was about 15 miles south of the campground, we flew to the canyon and back following the Mojave River bed (dry except for a few places where the river comes above ground). All in all a grand weekend out :)
Greg.
PS: I don't wear my Kilt when I'm flying.

Count me on the green list, '07 RTL SR-Navi, Aberdeen Green, and yes we do sometimes wear kilts in the aberdeen green Ridgeline.
Go Green!
