FLORIDARIDGER 08-02-2006, 06:29 PM I will try to do this and post them tomorrow for you to see. I agree, great product, lousy directions!!! But it sure looks fantastic on!!!! It took two of us to put it on, make sure you have a second set of hands when installing, sure does make it much better.
Night06Rdgline 08-02-2006, 06:31 PM Thank you soooooooooooo much!!!
I'm going to be installing it tomorrow after work. I'll make sure I have 4 hands ready to go.
thanx again!

FLORIDARIDGER 08-02-2006, 06:34 PM You're welcome! Actually I am headed outside right now to take the pics for you. You'll have them real soon.
Night06Rdgline 08-02-2006, 06:40 PM Awesome!!!
FLORIDARIDGER 08-02-2006, 07:42 PM Driver's side pics of the bracket that attaches. I forgot that the plastic trim/splash guard that protects the radiator, etc. is back in place and would be in the way when taking these, but this was our main hangup, we couldn't figure out how these positioned so this should help you match yours up. You have to take that guard off by taking out all those little plastic things, I think 16 or 18 of them, but they were easy.
geotech 08-02-2006, 07:45 PM I'll make sure I have 4 hands ready to go.
Attached are few pics of mine. You will need 4 hands minimum.
Night06Rdgline 08-02-2006, 07:48 PM wow this is gonna crazy..
Thanks guys for the pictures...definitely gonna help out big time!
FLORIDARIDGER 08-02-2006, 08:04 PM Pics of the passenger side
FLORIDARIDGER 08-02-2006, 08:13 PM Word of advice......cut out those paper diagrams they give you (make a copy of them if you can)and place them on your plastic splash cover (the one you will take out in order to install the bull bar) and draw on it (I traced around them) with a black marker first before trimming. I used a brand new sharp utility knife to do my cutting, it's not just trimming as they called it. The brackets you see drop down thru the plastic Honda cover. And also, we had difficulty attaching the straight brackets that attach towards the occupants compartment area, we loosened the bolt on each side to make adjustments and it went real easy then. Best wishes and remember to post pics!
geotech 08-02-2006, 08:19 PM What FLORIDARIDGER said!! :D
Night06Rdgline 08-03-2006, 01:38 PM Well its on, finally! and how hot it looks lol!
I'm so tired, so I'll post pictures later.... I'm so glad I went with black.
FLORIDARIDGER 08-03-2006, 07:06 PM Super! I was wondering how you were doing and thinking of you installing it today. Glad it went well, sure hope our input helped, I know it was really frustrating for me for a while but I got it. Those directions leave alot to be desired, and I let Westin know that too. But I sure love the Bullbar!
Night06Rdgline 08-03-2006, 07:09 PM Yeah the pictures omg definitely helped out big time!!! thank you guys so much..
I'll post some clean pictures of it tomorrow when i wash the truck..
Westin needs to revise those instructions with a cleaner approuch with details.....
They should have pictures insted of diagrams... if it wasn't for you guys, I would've been SOL..
I FRIGGIN LOVE THIS PLACE!! Y'ALL ARE GREAT!
Thanks again~

geotech 08-03-2006, 07:14 PM Excellent! Please post some pics when you feel up to it (I felt your pain;) ). BTW, I had my Ridge into a dealers today to get the damaged A pipe fixed. (postings on this elsewhere). Both the Service Manager and the mod mechanic thought that black was the way to go, especially on a white Ridge.:)
Night06Rdgline 08-03-2006, 07:25 PM Damaged exhaust pipe right? Yeah they need to come up with a solution for it, waaaaaaaaay to low...
I wana get side bars now... decideing between OEM Honda steps (not the running boards) or the westin side steps.... then the RTS wheels as I feel the aftermarket rims are cool and all but just don't match up the curves of the body well and i'm not a big fan of bling as that always brings unwanted attention.
Maybe a liftkit next, a hitch and hitch nerf bar to protect the rear end.
The black bar is the only way to go! no bling, very suttle and aggressive lookin on any color.
And yeah my arms are killin, between this and the gym tomorrow I'm so done!
geotech 08-03-2006, 07:49 PM I have posted to the skid plates threads about the damage: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6246&page=6
I am having "mini skip plates" welded on the replacement pipe, with the aid of the dealer. This will be to a seperate thread after work is complete. With the lift too, I'm feeling better about my mundane adventures off pavement.
