One local dealer puts a thin plastic trim around the wheel wells and on the edges of the doors. I see the use for the door edges but does anyone see the purpose of putting it along the wheel wells?

Let me see, does additional profit have anything to do with it???? I'm assuming that this dealer is not installing this stuff out of the goodness of their heart. It's probably showing up on the secondary sticker.
