WOW:cool: a 4 CYL and 17" wheels? NAV available, etc. May have to have one of these.
swampler 09-06-2006, 07:23 AM Not sure I care for the rubber stuff on the bottom front. Makes it look like a Ford.

It will be Accord trading time in a few months, I may give the CRV a good look.
swampler 09-06-2006, 07:42 AM Forgot to add...I like the look, other than what I mentioned above. Of course, that may make it easier to keep clean.
kspept 10-03-2006, 10:35 AM Does anybody know why Honda is not allowing you to have paint matching mirrors and door handles, unless you get the leather trim? My wife is very very pregnant, and I want to get rid of her Accord coupe and get her one of these 07 CRV's. But..., she is also a vegetarian, and refuses to have leather shoes, let alone leather seats. That is the one thing bothering me about this, and keeping me away from the dealership up until this point. Any input on this from anybody?

I thought the only difference between the EX and EX-L was the leather and nav if you wanted it.
kspept 10-03-2006, 11:30 AM Not according to the Honda wedsite when you look at the break down of the options for each model. I thought that EX always meant you would get matching door handles and mirrors, but with this CR-V, it only come on the EX-L
T Mac 10-03-2006, 07:39 PM Reminder...we've got more details on the 07 CR-V over on our CR-V Owners Club (http://www.crvownersclub.com) site too.

The 2006+ Civic has optional 17" wheels. The Civic Si has 17" wheels stock.
Cajun Country Ridgeline 10-04-2006, 05:38 AM lOOKED AT THE 2007 CRV....... VERY NICE!
MY WIFE ENDED UP PICKING A LIQUID PLATINUM METALLIC MAZDA CX-7 GRAND
TOURING MODEL.
AT LEAST IT WILL MATCH OUR SILVER RIDELINE.
SHE LOVES THE HONDA RIDGELINE, BUT THE 2007 CRV NEW COLORS WERENOT TO HER TASTE.
BannedUser 10-04-2006, 06:11 AM I like the look of this new CR-V. Very nice. :)
WVRIDGELINE 10-04-2006, 06:14 AM I hope the seats are more comfortable in the new CR-V. Has anyone taken a ride in the back seat yet?
25 Year Honda Owner 10-04-2006, 07:13 PM Stopped by the Honda store in M'borro, TN today to check out the CR-V. These are sharp cars. The only problem I found on the showroon model EX-L was "no power seat". Every thing else was great. I may be looking at one in a couple of months when it is time to trade the Accord.
kanji 10-04-2006, 07:44 PM wow..a decent ex-L cost as much as our RL RTX..ouch

Love the Honda 4-cyls. Been driving them forever. RL is my first V-6.
Lingered_I 10-04-2006, 09:24 PM Looks nice, but I reckon they'll lose sales to the Rav4 if they don't offer a V6.
Looks nice, but I reckon they'll lose sales to the Rav4 if they don't offer a V6.That V6 engine in the RAV4 is smooth. You can't really go wrong with a smaller SUV, 4WD, 268 hp V6 engine, loaded at ~$25k .... whew! :D
My girlfriend test drove one last night. I rode in the back seat. I must say the reclining back seat is awesome. PLenty of room back there for me and I am 6'1". However I had it leaed way back cuz I like to recline in my seat.
The car was nice and had good power, but it just felt cheap. We roded the EX-L and it was wierd to have a car with leather seats that still required manual adjustment of the seats. When the salesman was in there showing how the seat raised and he had to pump on it like a bottle jack, I was not impressed. But when the top o the line vehicle is still only 25K I guess you cannot expect a lot.

member12 10-31-2006, 09:24 AM probably a great car....but it looks kind of funny- esp. the front end.
kermit777 10-31-2006, 02:00 PM kind of reminded me of the kia sorento or hyundai santa fe
Tom Jones 10-31-2006, 02:32 PM Well I guess I am a lucky man. I just bought a 2007 Ridgeline RT-L and 2007 CR-V EX-L. Love them both already. We had 3 vehicles that we traded on the two. We are empty nesters and decided to trim down the fleet. My Ridgeline is Dark Cherry Pearl and my wifes CR-V is Red(don't remember what they call it) also. She picked out both. The old civic that we traded in on her CR-V was 1996 hatchback DX. It had 163,000 trouble free miles on it. Hated to see it go, but onward an upward. We drove a year end model of the CR-V. It was great also but we could tell a big difference between the 2006 and 2007, seats as far as comfort. Anyone else here have the CR-V in their stable?

It's the same in RT & RTX Ridgelines. But since Ms. Djeaux has designated me as the designated driver, it really doesn't matter. My seat hasn't been adjusted vertically since I bought it & is only adjusted fore & aft when I want to spend some time trying to find the socket for the trailer brake pigtail. Still looking, BTW.
