does it make a difference to use the yamalube 4 or just any kinda motor oil?

I have had many Yamaha's and I've used the Yamaha oil and never a problem.What's a few bucks?Your happy and Yamaha is happy.

I have a Raptor 700 and i use Mobil 1 for ATVs. i don't remember the exact name of it but it is pretty good. The primary difference i felt in switching to synthetic oil is that the gears change much more easily now. if your not going to use Yamalube make sure you use a 4-stroke motorcycle oil that is safe for a "wet-clutch" .


With all the gear we have to carry to support our ATV lifestyle, do you have a bed extender? the Bed extender is just about 1/2 an inch more narrow than the width at the rear tires.
