Re: Kayak load

I wondered what you'd be putting in the rack you made... But hey - you really need to load it up, so we can see the capacity ... why so few?

Come on up and visit. I'll go kayaking with you.
But I'm more of an open water kayaker. Sea kayaks.
In 3 or 4 foot waves, with the water washing over the deck and your skirt, punching the next wave with the bow...
Can hardly wait for Spring.
My avatar shows the homebuilt cedar kayak I use.
It's 18' long, 21" wide, and 45 lbs. Goes real fast on flat water.

Re: Kayak load

Hey Fred, did the police catch you stealing all those kayaks!!

I'm with the sea kayaking crowd, but where it can be done all year, Pacific weather notwithstanding. just learning on a whitewater boat too. that way too much wind won't keep me off the water.

Re: Kayak load

Actually, the vast amount of my kayaking time is spent in an Eddyline sea kayak, even though it's mostly on Otsego Lake in New York.
