Re: Dog got one ride in the bed - no more
First off IT'S A TRUCK who cares if the bed gets a scatch in it, and for the dogs in the back of a truck I have two kids and two dogs Im not going to put the dog in the truck and the kids in the bed. I know that some people don't agree with the dogs in the bed but those are the same people that call theie dogs their kids (not me) I don't want them to get hurt but when I go to the creek in the summer Im not going to ride home with two wet dogs in the cab.
I live in a small town about 5000 people I think that makes a difference also.

Re: Dog got one ride in the bed - no more
Who woulda thought a post about bed scratches would lead to a PETA debate! gotta love it.
just fyi - i know the bed is going to get scrathced but wasn't ready for it within an hour of driving the truck home off the lot :-) As to safety of a dog in the back - This is Texas and it is state law that all Truck owners must have a dog in the bed ;-) |

![]() Seriously, yes, the bed is going to get scratched. As mentioned, the bed panels aren't too expensive to replace. One good investment is to get a decent bed mat. A lot of members hear swear by them.
