Re: Bellteck -vs- American Honda
I am reserving some time to read your saga end-to-end. We can all learn a lot from these kind of experiences.
I have chassis #5xxx, one of the first 10K off of the line. Having owned a handmade, low volume production motorcycle in the past, I'm quite familiar with the traits that these kind of vehicles posess. Little things aren't quite ironed out. The original factory paint on my rear bumper, for example. The fact that many pieces of my vehicle have grease crayon markings on them. The fact that American Honda is falling over backwards to get feedback from early adopters. I knew this when I bought it. So far, I have not had any major issue with it. I may have the wind noise issue but I won't address it until it either becomes a bigger problem, or Honda recognizes it (thanks for the Techline postings, JC). I'm looking forward to reading your saga.

Do not worry about achieving your optimum fuel economy until you get the vehicle broke-in according to the recommended guidelines described in your owners manual." |
