Mute/ATT Command

-Are you referencing this as a function of the Navi?

Mute/ATT via Double Tap on Volume Down on steering wheel

-You can single touch the steering and hold it down. It goes from full blast to nothing in about 5 seconds.

Bluetooth Capability

-OK, I'll agree with this one.

Homelink working only with "key on"

-If the homelink looses power, it looses it's settings. I found this out the hard way in the Quest. I haven't seen one that turned off with the key but I haven't seen em all.

Xenon Headlight Package

-Xenon is easy. HID isn't that much harder but is illegal because of the headlight height.

Tailgate Lock

-I can show you how to make one for $10.

Reminding me if the Moonroof is not in a closed position

-Can't help with this one. Maybe Ginkobaloba will help. J/K

All Windows Down function

- Ummmm... The truck already has this feature.

1-Touch Windows Down Function

- You can buy 3 more drivers window switches and viola all 1 touch windows.

Windows and Moonroof Close function from keyfob via holding Lock

-See the group buy section and look for KP Technologies

Left and Right Rear headrests hidden like center

-They do come out. Many people just put em' in the trunk.

"Display Off" voice command from main screen instead of setup screen

-I don't know a whole lot about the Navi. Sorry

Cylinder Management

- Unfortunately the RL is about as aerodynamic as a brick. The engine is not powerful enough to support this function.

More information in the trip display:
In addition to: Trip A, Trip B, Odometer and Estimated Oil Life
Average Speed, Average MPG, Miles to Empty

Buy a Scanguage II. It's $169 shipped. It'll tell you all of the above stuff plus a couple more things that you probably don't want to know. It's worth the money and will work in any vehicle.
So I take it many people want what I want... included with their vehicles. They've found ways to locate mods to get it done.

Be nice to have all this stuff from the factory, out of the box more functional than the current model provided.

SVC might be able to be controlled by getting the radio into a setup mode. My Audi manual showed me how to hold a few buttons down while turning it on to adjust the SVC.
Also on this Audi, the homelink didn't work with the key out. This helps keep me safe from intruders if they happen to break into my car and hit the garage button... happened before with a remote pad.. pretty scary stuff.

The headrests.. I wanted them hidden like the center..so I don't have to take them out. Pull them up when I want them, push them down when I don't.

But heck.. I'm pretty happy with my Ridgeline. Its Roomy inside, love the fold up seats in the rear and the many storage compartments inside... the "not an ash tray" fits dollar bills perfectly. LOVE THE TRUNK. Thanks Honda.

  • High mpg diesel engine
  • built-in trailer controller with RTX package
  • leather seat option with RTX package
  • fewer initial defects--rear window seal, left front wheel wheel misaligned, hood misaligned, rubber sticking our on passenger side hood corner; all observed so far on my RTX. Note my first Honda, a 94 Accord EX, is faultess and has 200,000 miles.

Re: Dear Honda.. I wished my ridgeline had

I'm not sure if these was already mention but:

-grab rail/handle on the driver side
-RTX should come with side step/running boards
-tinted or auto dim side and rear view mirror
-mp3 jack standard on all trim level or make CD player mp3/wma ready.
-2WD option(although I would perfer AWD anyways)
-offer more cab and bed config?

How exactly would this work? Has anyone done it?

Re: Dear Honda.. I wished my ridgeline had

-Bed mounted 20mm Gatling gun
-Hovercraft mode
-Flux capacitor (and accompanying gigawatts)
-Cool red LED motion light in the grill like on KITT from the show Night Rider
-Minus the Hasselhoff on the above mentioned item
-Night Vision cameras
-Active carbon cabin air intake scrubber (for when you get stuck behind a jacked up, chipped out, domestic diesel truck)
-Windshield washer type function for rear side windows (Dog snot-you had to be there)
-Ability to deploy protective shield like the Batmobile for safe parking
-Cloaking device for stealth travel (or parking)

Finally, just so I can continue to rip off ideas from other sources, a built in TV.

Use the key fob, push down [unlock] button twice, keep pressing it in on the second push, all windows will go down, until you let go.

A better stock audio unit. The stocker is early 90's era. It's 2007. Needs to read WMA/MP3. Nice speaker arrangement not able to reach it's potential with low-fi audio unit.

I have no problem with ****ty stock stereos but there should for sure be a total upgrade when you pay $2500-$3000 more for NAV!!!!

I agree with the better head unit part of your statement but have you seen the stock door speakers? If the stereo has a weakest link, it's the speakers. Have you seen what they look like? No neodonium magnets here, just puny ole' regular magnets. I wouldn't be surprised if they cost Honda less than $2 a pop. The stock driver is on the left. The right speaker is a Pioneer replacement.
