I think what they mean are lights that turn themselves on based on some kind of daylight sensor, so they're only on when it's dark out. Cadillac had this back in the 70's.

Watch out for those add-ons. At trade-in time it might cut way down on the $s. Or if you sell out right your potential buyers will be narrowed down. I learned from past experiance.

You know this actually protects your left leg from breaking in a crash, right?

Locking tailgate so a tonneau cover is more practical.

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline

thats easy
1 more ground clearance
2 skid plates
3 larger tank
4 more torque
5 low range
6 rubber floor option
7 locking tailgate is standard with everyone, why not the RL?

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but please add to the Ridgeline (and ALL Hondas) a automatic timer shut off for the reading lights in the overhead console. My wife and kids continually leave them on and then we come back to a dead battery. Most automakers already have this option in their trucks, why not Honda? Thats just poor engineering...

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline

I have a silver '07 RTX, I love it, I would love an AC outlet in the trunk for a battery charger for my portable tools, auto headlights and homelink available on the the cheaper models. Diesel would be a major plus too. This is a great truck for an electrician. I get questions and comments from other laborer saying they wish they bought one, or how I like it cause they might get one. Espeacially when I show them the trunk.

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline

I'm looking to get a new Ridgeline in the next couple of months or so. I'm thinking of waiting for the 09's because I'm hoping they add some of the improvements that have been suggested here.

One option I'd especially like to see added is Bluetooth.

Other changes that have been mentioned that I'd also like to see are:

Memory seats
dual visors w/extenders
and more cupholders

Overall though I think this is a well designed vehicle that is already almost perfect.

Just my .02 cents...
