Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline
College Hills Honda is now listing a Bluetooth "handsfree Homelink" accessory for 2008 Accords, Accord Coupes, and Odysseys.
![]() This is a pretty pricey accessory, but a regular Homelink overhead console lists for around $200, it may not be so bad. But I did notice that the new accessory was not listed for the Ridgeline, so there may be a change in size for the console in the 2008 Accords & Oddities...

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline
That's what has me thinking that the 09 Ridgelines may have Bluetooth too.
My wife's 2007 Odyssey didn't offer it as far as I can recall. Obviously not a "Must have" feature, but a nice to have one. Quote:

thats easy 1 more ground clearance 2 skid plates 3 larger tank 4 more torque 5 low range 6 rubber floor option 7 locking tailgate is standard with everyone, why not the RL? Ford makes something called a F150. QUOTE] Yes... but... skid plates - could be an option larger tank - eh!? In my opinion this is "fiddy-fiddy". Sure, if you get to the end of the next redesign and realize you can put in another 5-10-15 litres, go for it! More torque - uh, huh! Oh yes please. The Element does not have a lot of torque relative to weight and engine power but it uses it what it has well. Give the ridgeline more gearing and use the torque it has better (I believe that covers the 5th point as well). Rubber floor option - I think a stripped down work truck would work. Rubber floor, (but with AC), no cruise, one simple overhead light, simple radio CD (four speaker), no power locks, perhaps a bench seat up front, simple bench in the back (no split), heck even a longer box configuration with not back seat this would be fantastic. Make it a manual versus an automatic. The current competition have an array of configurations available for just about everyone. The CRV has an Element model Why not a Ridgeline "work truck" model? Or why ... "A little more choice"? ... would be good?

How's that? Can't tell if you're kidding or not, but I don't particularly like the location of that left-foot rest either. It's a little too close for me, and my legs aren't particularly long. Been thinking of removing it if that's possible without tearing up anything. |

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline
If we're talking "next gen Ridgeline", then I'd like to see a few inches added to the bed and maybe a few added to the cab as well.
I love the current Ridgeline, but I think it could stand to be a bit longer and still not be "too big".

Re: Dear Honda, please add these to the Ridgeline
I thought of another one, now this is a serious one
I would like to see a grab handle on the a-pillar (between windshield/door) like the passenger side has I think its possible to angle it so it doesnt impose on driver visibility, and a handle there would be very useful to the driver getting in and out of the vehicle.....especially when parked on a uneven ice surface like my driveway like when the ground slopes down towards the truck and say if you slipped and had no handle to grab you could end up underneath the thing dont ask me how exactly that could happen ![]()
