LOL! My daughter won't get in her seat until she hangs her lunch box from the hooks.

Sorry for sounding harsh, but the Ridgeline has a LOT that is in the owners manual. I don't mind helping people out, but I found the hooks even without looking in the manual.
I have 5 kids and I work a lot, so reading the manual is pretty far down on the list, honestly. If it's a matter of importance, I'll be sure to read the manual, I promise.

On more than one occasion already, I've found myself thinking it would be really nice if there were hooks in a place where there are none, and I thought I'd voice that opinion. 2 liter drinks and gallons of milk are an every-other-day necessity for me & my vehicle, and the current setup could be a lot better for people like me with a relatively simple addition.

Again, helpful information in the thread about existing hooks I haven't seen yet, and thanks for that.

Good idea. Actually, the trunk is the best place for a "large object" as it can accommodate quite a few things with the "large object". I'd also recommend investing in a collapsible shovel, too. Plus, after you wrap up the glow-in-the-dark emergency release handle so it isn't visible in the dark that can help out. Eh, don't ask how I knows all of dis...

There is a lot about the Ridgeline that can be quite "subtle," unless you know where to look or who to ask.

do a google search for "Vehicle Hanger" , it attaches to the headrest post and carries your plastic bags.

Well, if you keep your rear seats folded up frequently like I do then I'd suggest maybe looking at small sliding hooks that could attach to the metal support bars in the up mode. I just wouldn't put TOO much weight on them if you go that route.

Hmmm, I have an Element. Plenty of room for my groceries. Plus I have one of these:

It by Thule and collapses completely flat when not in use.

Re: Hooks for grocery bags, BADLY needed

The hooks on the back of the center console are ok for a small plastic garbage bag but they are to low to hold a plastic grocery bag well. The height needs to be just high enough to carry some of the weight of the bag but not to low to allow all the weight to be carried on the floor. in the case of the rear console hooks, all the weight is carried on the floor the handles fall down.

Re: Hooks for grocery bags, BADLY needed

I've found that simply tying off the bags helps in limiting their shifting and spilling. The only down side is that it may limit reuse of the bags, depending on your knot undoing skills.

it also helps to read the thread, where the 1st post states sometimes they dont feel like using the trunk(like when the bed is filled with snow)

and honestly your recommendation to search is inappropriate since this is a feedback thread to help honda to improve their future products

dear honda: hooks on the back of the front seats would be very useful (and please excuse all the postwhoring)
