Hooks for grocery bags, BADLY needed

On the back side of the front seats, something similar to what the Chrysler people do with their minivans on the rear seat.

2 times now, I've gone to the grocery store & haven't wanted to throw them in the trunk--- have just wanted to put them in the back seat or on the floorboards. This creates a very messy and loud situation in a hurry.

There should be hooks on the center console or on the backs of the front seats for securing plastic shopping bags. A very inexpensive but greatly loved feature of the vans I've been forced to drive for so long.

I now have a TRUCK, but I don't like upsetting my groceries. Fix this soon please, kthx.

Re: Hooks for grocery bags, BADLY needed

Before replying I had to run out and check.... yep there still there...
I don't use the 2 hooks as Razzy would have a free for all with the groceries!!

There are 2 hooks just below the vents on the center console, one on each side of the accessory plug.

At least on my 2006 there still there...

Re: Hooks for grocery bags, BADLY needed

There are two bag hooks on the back of the console of my 2007, just to either side of the power outlet. I use them all the time.

Somebody the other day was grousing about the tray in front of the concole between driver & passenger seats. This is the perfect size for most take-out food packages. They don't tip, they don't slide, works out great!

Personally, I think they're positioned a bit too low.

I wonder if you could add your own hooks to the under side of the rear seat. These could be used when the rear seats are folded up.

Certainly worth looking into. Sounds like a good idea.

I always use cardboard file boxes(Bankers Box) to put the bags in. Easy to carry into the house.
Keeps those cans goods from going everywhere.

Have you thought about those plastic utility hooks that have 3M tape on them & a little tab for removal if-and-when? They would work under the rear seat, methinks.

I use the underseat storage accessory. With the bin and netting, it keeps all my groceries in one place.
