Angry Got a problem with honda service?? Let out your frustration

for me, its been 8 days since my dealership has ordered the option parts for my new Ridgeline, they claimed they had no option parts in stock (bull****), did i receive any phone calls about my parts since i picked up my car 1 week ago? NO!
these are the parts they claim not to have in stock:
*remote start
*brush gaurd
*fog lights
*back-up sensors
*running board

i pay over $30K ($16K because its leased) for a car and this is the service they give me?? i am paying for **** that i dont even have, and am i going to get a refund on it? HELL NO!!

i bet i won't even have the parts on the car before the second payment is due

i love my new ridgeline but i hate the "customer service"

Re: Got a problem with honda service?? Let out your frustration

It seems reasonable to me those parts would not be stocked. It's been 8 days, so two of them would be a weekend, that's only 6 working days. I understand your excitement to get them, but cool your jets a bit. If you don't have them in 14 days then ask questions.

Does your lease payment include these options? Why are you putting so much into a leased vehicle?

Re: Got a problem with honda service?? Let out your frustration

my dad talked me into leasing it then when i found out a diesel is coming in 2011 that pushed me to got lease it, and the extra stuff im only paying 52% of what it cost if i bought the car (except for remote start), but Nissan which has the worst customer service i have ever seen got there parts in 1 day,
Honda has gotta have some of those parts in stock, the back-up sensor arnt they universal for all Hondas? the remote start is also universal

Remote starters and back up sensors are not universal when it comes to original Honda parts. Aftermarket stuff will be universal for the most part.

I agree my dealer doesn't even have common items like replacement headlight bulbs, tailight bulbs, or tires in stock for the RL.

Back up sensor kits are vehicle specific. And i have yet so see a remote starter from Honda for the Ridgeline. Ypu wan't want to double check with your dealer before they install it.

Ummmmm. I bet a salesman told you that.

I wish Honda made a modular plug in remote starter. That would have been my first modification. I still don't have remote start after all this time. Maybe next week.....
