Tailgate Issues

Honda,
Please remember that your customers expect better,reliable,and well designed vehicles. The issue of the latch not working to swing the tailgate is ticking a lot of people off! We are going to demand better or go somewhere else if you can not reconize this problem and fix this flaw!

There's been a TSB for this issue for the last two years or so.

I actually went in for my first service and showed the service manager how my tailgate handle was really loose. There was nothing wrong with the operation of the latch, but the bezel or surround was missing a couple of mounting bolts. Anyway...it's fixed.

is this an issue with 2007's & 2008's? My tailgate still works the same as it did when I bought my 2006 a few years ago.
