Dress bar option-front bumper trim (pics)

Got around to addressing the ugly, unfinished strip of metal that runs under the doors. Some months ago I used some black out tape to put it out of mind but it was not holding up, some cracking & peeling started so I removed it. In it's place I found this nice body molding at Pep boys, 1" by 16' long for $17.00. The color and texture matches the splash guards. Held on with 3m auto adhesive, it ain't moving. A cheap fake dress bar and I'm very satisfied with the results......

I also got a nasty stone ding on the nose of the front bumper just above one of the driving lites. I was going to use touch up paint, but this ding was down to the black plastic of the bumper cover. Touch up would help but would still leave a scar. Off to pep boys for 3/4" chrome molding. It hid the ding and think it flows in nicely with the chrome of the alternate grill....

Two clever ideas! I may follow your lead on the rocker panel molding. Hmmm...

Yes, please let's see a picture, I hope it doesn't look to good, I'll have to rip mine out and do your treatment.

It was nice to meet you also. I love the new color.

Not to worry about the hot wire, 220-221, whatever it takes.
