Nerf Bars Raptor Brand "Anyone Heard of Them"

I was looking at a set of Nerf Bars other than the Westin Brand, I had the Westins on my truck and they didn't last as expected so I was looking into an alternative. Has anyone heard of or had any experience with the Raptor brand. From what I read is some of the tests they performed very well but I like input from user experience.

Thanks

Hi
I pulled the trigger on the Stainless Steel 4inch Ovals. Ordered them online from Truckparts411.com for ~$400Cdn which included shipping. Took me an hour to install, fit perfectly. Look absolutely Awesome on my truck. I am so glad my wife talked me out of getting the OEM ovals and I search a little deeper. I've attached a couple photos (first time, hope I get it right).

They look impressive...especially with your door & door handle chrome! I may have to check out their website. Nice choice.
A belated welcome to the ROC!

The Nerf Bars are great, but I'm more interested in the body side moldings you have. Can you tell me more about them?

Re: Nerf Bars Raptor Brand "Anyone Heard of Them"

Personally, I like the ones from Burtman - stainless steel - won't corrode.

Re: Nerf Bars Raptor Brand "Anyone Heard of Them"

Dittos on the stainless steel variety - they are the best. The OEM running boards have a center mounting strut - many secondary market ones don't. While not absolutely required they will be sturdier.

I found a great set on eBay - try there.

Re: Nerf Bars Raptor Brand "Anyone Heard of Them"

Hi Guys

These bars are Stainless steel, including the end caps. Very very clean with no screws in the endcaps, completely sealed. Even the Bolts into the frame are stainless.

As for the trim, that was installed by the dealership before I even purchased the truck.
