My Exterior Overhaul (w/ pics)

Well the silver grew on me, I ditched the paint job ideas. Iv'e decided to put add-ons to the exterior and interior. Starting with the exterior. When I bought my RL, it was base modeled. Iv'e added on the front shield and the roof rack.

The next thing I'm going to do is tint the front two windows.

Then, I was thinking of a few things to do after that. I was thinking about putting on the other grille, getting black-out covers for the head and tail lights, and a cover for the bed. The bed cover won't be happening anytime soon though, it's alot of cash and instillation.

I would like opinions on how you think it would look with the other grille. Also, opinions on black-out covers for the lights, and annything I've mentioned or already done. Thanks. Pics will be added later.

I added 20% tint to all glass (minus windshield). This gives the factory tinted glass a NET 5%.

The other (RTX) grille is the way to go. I would avoid the tinted lights as I'd rather have brighter lights e.g more visible to others.



While at it, put in Silverstar headlights (or competitors) and then put in super white LED license plate bulbs (easy mod). This is a 6 LED bulb. Mine have a slight blue hue to them (think luxury car look)

FYI - I need to get pix but I put a blackout kit on the front. Looks pretty good but greatly diminishes the brightness of the headlights...big time.

If you mean me, that is a Go Rhino hitch step. I bought it on eBay for ~$120 shipped. The black version is much cheaper.

Sorry for the wait. So far I put on the Tints, Roof Rack, and Hood Guard. I have the RTX grille, probably doing that Sunday. I put the gray trim outlines in the head and tail lights. Got the cargo net for the bed. Also mud flaps for all the tires... When I got it, it was just stock.









Putting in the RTX grille.. Then my next idea is black side protectors.. Let me know what you think.
