Tailgate open left side or right side?

Do you like the tailgate opening from the RIGHT side as it is now, or would you rather have it open from the LEFT side?

Never thought about it until now....I like the right side probably because I am right handed.....but think about it....since we drive on the right side of the road and if you are loading from say a grocery store or a curb, it would give you easier access to the bed and the trunk......

If I could choose - I would have switched it from what it is now - I am on the left side, when I put stuff in the back seat, it's on the left side, due to my getting in on the left side.

So, when I do any work on the truck (keeping in mind I do not have a garage to put stuff), I usually have to walk around the gate to get to handy stuff. My daughter's booster seat is on the right, so that's why I just don't put things there (yes, I heard your thoughts! )

In the grand scheme of things, I'm just lazy and don't want to take those extra 3 steps (hey, they add up), but it really doesn't matter - it's cool to swing it out for people to see... The tail gate! (yes, I heard that too!)

Don't know what happened, I clicked on the "right side" button but somehow it put my vote down as "left side".
Just to make it clear, I like it just the way it is, Swing out from the right.

If I could choose I'd switch it only because our house is to the left of the driveway. If we move and find a house with a drive on the left side I will like it opening on the right better.

Being right handed I think it is easier to load things into the truck with the tailgate as it is, otherwise my right arm would be hitting the tailgate more and it would require lifting more with my left hand.

I am sure Honda will make the change based on this extensive poll,

The poll is unclear, too. it asks if you like it to open ON the right or left, while the thread indicated FROM the right or left. I see those two as opposites.
