And I apologize for being a late adopter on this one. I've done my share of leading the pack in other non-automotive areas. Question about a TV anyone?
I sure hope my comments weren't taken as criticism of those who avail themselves of the experiences of others. I do so myself, and often. But I don't complain about th time it takes for the earlies to post their opinions and experiences.
What's the best in a large flat screen? Projector?

Point well taken. That's a distinction that should be made.

As for flat screens. Think Panasonic plasma.

For Projection, look at the Sim3 projector with a stewart screen. B&W speakers and the receiver/amp of your choice. Rotel DVD.

Or do the above but with a Runco 1000D or better projector.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

I just spoke to BAK, the guys who actually make the cover, and they are stating a ship to me on 6/20 and I bought it on 6/12. That is pretty quick. Since I have already received all the parts for my bed rail mounted Yakima rack system, I wanted to get a head start on the cover/rack install and wanted to find out what type of space the BAK takes on the rail and unlike all other models of the BAKflip, it does not take any space on top of the rails. A totally new install style for our trucks. What was a bit disturbing to find out is that the track for the BAK uses the holes from the high front set of tie down hooks and after the rail is installed, these hooks must be left off. That is a bummer. Below is a good picture of how it looks on the Ridgeline - notice the 4th forward panel, which does not fold up as a special engineering they had to do for the Ridgeline.

Yeah, mine from autoanything is shipping at the same time. Apparently BAK didn't have any ready to ship before then. Brian at autoanything apologized fot their lack of communication.
Any type of cover would render those upper front hooks useless. Especially the various rollups. I'm thinking someone will come up with a workaround.
Maybe Mike and Lincoln, of hood prop fame.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

WooHoo!
Autoanything just notified me that my Bakflip shipped today. It's coming from San Diego, so it should be here early/mid next week. Maybe I'll pick it up at "will call" at UPS. And perhaps I'll take the day off and install.
I can't find my digital camera, but I'll try to get some pictures and run it through the car wash. Reviews to come at any rate.
Me happy.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

I haven't even got mine yet and I'm already thinking about mods.
Anyway, I wondering how decals would look on the panels. And would they even stick? The panels look pretty rough in the pictures on the BAK website. And would they stand up to direct sunlight? But given these questions, I think decals that set off the body color would look pretty cool. And the material is black, a perfect background for many colors.
Maybe LadyRidge has some input.
I should admit here that I am something of a peacock.

According to UPS tracking, my BAKflip was delivered today.

Can't wait to get home and check it out!

Anybody else receive theirs?

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

I spoke with Autoanything my Bakflip was suppose to ship on Monday the 20th. I called today as I had not recieved any shipping confirmation. Spoke with a young lady she was going to e-mail me with the shipping confrimation. I never heard from her again. I called back this afternoon spoke with Anthony he looked and said I see you were told it would ship on the 20th now they are saying it will ship next Monday. Anthony told me he would take an additional 5% off the price. That is great I would rather have my tonneau. Currently the purchase price is $551 with free shipping. This is my first order with them we will see if they come through.
