Talking Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

They're upfront. I like that.
But who's that shifty-looking character in their video?
BTW; I put them here yesterday, so I get the BETA.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

I looked at the Torza. Like you said, it doesn't fold up against the rear window. That's a pretty big deal to me, but other than that the Torza almost got my order, until BAK came through. I'm glad I waited. Now I gotta wait for a payday.
To each her/his own, right.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

I've looked at the Torza Hard Hat and liked it a lot, but I was concerned about the fabric or vinyl not being glued to the core. I've seen a few photos showing the cover material not taut and read somewhere about the cover material rippling during higher speeds. The Bak flip is solid.

Easy to remove but also easy to get full access to the bed without completely removing the cover.

One thing you absolutely have to report on is how the cover affects opening pf the trunk. Thanks in advance.

I will take multiple photos of cover and install once it arrives as well as an overall review.

You are absolutely right about the HardHat. I am disappointed about that characteristic. I purchased it because I wanted a hard tonneau cover. Instead, at almost any speed it billows up like a sailboat spinnaker. It looks cheesy as hell.

The BakFlip looks pretty cool from the pictures. I will be interested to hear what early adopters think about it.

The Video is on the BakFlip web site under the Installation link. It is for the cover that flips back.

Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

Here is a link for a better price...this vendor is in San Diego, Ca...so if you are out of state, you will get free tax and shipping...not bad.

http://www.autoanything.com/tonneau-...0A50300A1.aspx

They also sell the Sprint springs for a great price...

I have no interest in this...just trying to help out ROC fellows

Thumbs up Re: Rolbak Tonneau Cover

Yes, thanks. Just ordered mine. Now I gotta wait. I hate that.
By the way, they have a one year price guarantee. That's good, if you keep track.
