Gas Mileage

What are people getting for the real gas mileage on the ridgeline. I saw the specs on the chevy Avalanche at 15 and 21 and the ridgeline at 16 and 21. The chevys a v8. is this acurate?

Re: Gas Mileage

So, are you a real person or what? You've been posting here since last year (at least as far back as April) and haven't bought one yet?

I get about 18/22. That's not really babying it either. I drive at least 70 in 65 zones, sometimes more (depending on traffic).

Re: Gas Mileage

Ill bite,

For my daily 130 mile commute I get an average of 19 mpg . Mostly highway/interstate driving, but some in town driving searching for lunch. On the interstate/highway I set the cruise @ 85 mph.

Re: Gas Mileage

Best i have done is 14.3. The last tank I filled was 10.8! Terrible. I baby the crap out of it. It only has 940 miles on it so I'm hoping it gets better. I do love the truck and it runs perfect! My Silverado did better.

Re: Gas Mileage

Patheltic i know. I am a real person. I had some older vehicles to dispose of before i could move forward with this purchase, Plus i want to pay cash. A friend of mine has the chevy. Nice car. Say its a gas guzzler. But specs rate them close.

Re: Gas Mileage

My average was 17.5 but this winter blend gas is bringing me down a bit. I'm guess I'm at 16-16.5 average with 16k miles and about a year old. Pretty much medium to heavy traffic commuting with very little fast moving highway miles to really stretch the tank...

Re: Gas Mileage

There aren't any cities nearby so I drive mostly highway miles.

I've been averaging 20.6 mpg on my daily commute. When the gas tank needle is at the half full point I've usually gone 200+ miles. Today at half tank I had gone 220 miles so this will be a high mpg tank. During the summer I got slightly better milage - about 21.5 mpg.
