$3.86 this a.m., luckily I had $35 in BP/Amoco gas cards to ease the pain.

$3.459 on Saturday in Sedona.....wife paid $3.449 in Prescott the same day.
I can see lots of people, myself included, seriously considering other means of transportation in the next year or two. I've already resigned myself to the fact that by the time I'm ready for another vehicle, it won't be a RL unless its a hybrid (not happening). Who knows what gas prices will be in 5-8 years from now when I want a new truck? My commute is a short one in comparison to many (36 miles, probably 2 gallons/day round trip to work) and I'm glad I didn't take the other job last year (115 miles/day). I planned on keeping the RL to give to my son or daughter when they are old enough to drive but if it hits $5-6 by then, it won't happen I actually started reading a Car & Driver magazine the other day in the dentist's office, looking at the smaller, more economical sedans  Some analysts are predicting oil prices to hit $200/barrel by next year......

$3.699, 87 Octane, Texaco/Chevron yesterday in SE Pa.
Pump shut off at $60.00 and I wasn't full yet. Looks like they started limiting debit card purchases in my area.

It's official now. My lawnmower gas can now costs me more to fill than my car did when I was in college.

I will be filling up in the next day or so, I am at half a tank. The price of diesel is now at $4.79.9, up 20 ¢ in 5 days, I am certain that gas will go up next. Diesel is sure to hit $5 here before anywhere else.
