Talking 1st post, New Ridgeline

Hello All,
Yesterday I traded in my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 for a new Ridgeline RTL
Its funny, I drive these all the time, I have been a Honda tech for 15 years, but now that I put some miles on one they really seem very small compared to my Dodge. My wife and dog like it, its easier for them to get into.

Well I don't know if yer a knee dragger like ole number 46, but if you ride like Valentino, you're gonna love how smooth this truck drives after some hard laps around the track! I don't ride asphalt anymore but we all ride dirt every weekend and the ride home from the dez is priceless! Enjoy you're new truck and a warm west coast welcome to this great site!

Wlecome, rossi! I too am looking forward to any Honda tech's posts. How does the handling and performance of the Ridge compare to your Ram in your opinion?

Re: 1st post, New Ridgeline

Thanks for all the kind words and warm welcome,

5S Dude,
I'm a street guy, Just sold my Ducati 998, before that I had an RC-51, currently I am building a 6 out, 3 up, 45* pro street custom

Jay Cee,
The performance and handling are completely different, The Ram has a 5.7 liter with 345 hp and 375 ft lbs of torque. The suspension is heavy duty with a solid front axle. Hell the rear brakes on the Ram are bigger than the front brakes on the Ridgeline. They really can't be compared, they just aren't the same type of truck.

Re: 1st post, New Ridgeline

Welcome to the board. A Honda tech, eh? You are gonna get all kinds of questions thrown your way. Very popular you will be. I hope you got a good deal on the Ridgeline.

Re: 1st post, New Ridgeline

Congrats on yer new Ridgeline...
Notice I said Ridgeline and not truck.
Coming from a full size, its hard to swallow.
You are the one who made the choice to switch.
Nobody here will disagree with your choice either.
We all came to the same conclusion you did.
Honda made a great multi purpose vehicle... Or SUT.
I looked at full size dodges...
back seat seemed smaller than the Ridgelines...
and the ride quality... well... we all made the right choice.
Have fun and enjoy.
I too will be looking forward to yer posts.
