Talking It's in the driveway...

Greetings All!

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new Ridgeline owner. Bought a Silver 08 RTL without Navi from Reliance Honda in Lake Jackson, TX today. It was a really sweet deal and I'm happy with it so far. Traded in my '02 Buick Rendezvous (was my first car, a bittersweet moment there! )

I got the trailer harness and splash guards as part of the deal, but am getting a Hidden Hitch and trailer brake controller installed aftermarket (cheaper than dealer installed).

I did my research about the truck and luckily found you guys here at ROC early on in the process - it definitely made life easier when deciding on this vs. a full size SUV. This truck is like the best of both worlds.

I'm definitely looking forward to spending time in it and on the road, and will definitely contribute here as much as I can find time to do so!

Re: It's in the driveway...

Congratulations on getting your new RTL! I'm sure you're going to love it. I just got my '08 RTL about three months ago, and I'm having a ball driving it around. Got my first long trip coming up next week, and I'm looking forward to trying the RL on the road.

You're very wise to have found this forum before you got your RL. I didn't do that, and I can now see how much I missed in doing RL research. Some great folks here, and some outstanding information. Welcome to the ROC, and welcome to Ridgeline ownership! And hey, post some pics when you get a chance!

Re: It's in the driveway...

Thanks all! I've got some pictures but it took quite a drive home (Austin would have been closer but I could drive 200 miles for the better deal) so I need to hose it down and wash the front already!
