Disagree, the RL is the best vehicle all around that I have owned!! Out of 12 Accords 1/2 or more have been assembled in Marysville. The only difference I could tell was the ones from Japan started their vin number with a "J"!

Cheaper to make now in the good ol USofA with the devalued dollar. BMW is doing the same thing.

Re: Honda to make major Alabama announcement [3.7.8]

Plus we can't keep up with the demand for Civics... so this is Honda's way of 'giving the customer what they want" just a little shuffling of the deck to add production...

Re: Honda to make major Alabama announcement [3.7.8]

Too bad the Alabama plant wasn't built due to Ridgeline demand. Off topic--When are they going to advertise this unique vehicle for how cool it is?? I'd sure like to see their resale improve. Probably be like the SVT Focus. Nobody wanted them until they stopped manufacturing. Then the value took a big jump.

Built by women and robots??

Remember, here in the Confederate States half the men are out giving Yankee tourists incomprehensible driving directions while the other half are tending the still. The women robots are all that's available for factory work

Is Tennessee considered a 'confederate state'? I'm heading down there to the Honda Hoot in Knoxville come June. I'm dealing on my second Ridgeline lease right now. -- Maybe I better upgrade to the Navi model.

On the build quality. I hear there were issues. But I figure it had a lot to do with brand new design and a tool up. Our '06 Civic and '06 RL have both been perfect except for a seat heater replacement in the RL that had nothing to do with assembly. Any hoo, a factory tour would be a good excuse to ride my motorbike a little further south, eh?

Re: Honda to make major Alabama announcement [3.7.8]

I agree, since April 05 the only thing that had problems on the Ridge was driver's door gasket was replaced twice and some bulbs in the dash.

No leaks, no rattles, etc.
