Honda to make major Alabama announcement [3.7.8]

It's been known for some time that the RL was going to built in Alabama - my brother works for an OEM supplier near there and they've known what they were going to need to deliver since mid-last year...

Todlit--don't take it personally, but the Ridgeline is not the best assembled Honda product by far. It reminds me of when Honda began making Accords in Ohio instead of Japan, back around 1983. Compared to my Japanese Accord, the American model was plagued with rattles and simply not as well put together. In time they got it right.....

Our Odyssey was built at the Lincoln plant and has had zero build quality issues.

Well as a member of the HCM team for over 10 years I guess it does hit a little close to home. I consider the Ridgeline the best vehicle I have ever owned and have a fair bit of pride in the vehicles we produce here.

Todlit--I am glad to hear that you take pride in what you build; that's a good thing. I love my Ridgeline too. Issues like water leaks, wind noise, and rattles are not things Honda buyers are used to encountering. I think it has a lot to do with the design itself, which is unique and a first in the automotive industry. You should be very proud of that.
